Hello friends & Merry Christmas! To celebrate 100,000+ views on this blog (in just a few months!) and 25,000+ followers on Tumblr, I thought it would be fun to host a little giveaway. I received the Vice 4 palette this Christmas as a gift from my awesome grandma, and I have been absolutely loving it. I love the variety of colors from the bold jewel tones to the wearable neutrals. Urban Decay is my favorite brand of eyeshadow, and I also love the pigmentation and quality. Because I love the UD Vice 4 Palette so much, I decided to purchase one to give out as a giveaway!

Check out the widget above for the three ways to enter. All you have to do is comment on this post & let me know what your favorite part of 2015 has been! I will be checking all answers and entries. The winner will be announced on January 1st at 2:00 PM, and the palette will be sent out the following week (the winner has 48 hours to email me back, as mentioned in the terms & conditions). Thank you so much for all of the encouragement and love I have received over the past few months. Blogging has given me the coolest opportunities in the world and has really given me the ability to express myself- so this is my little way of saying thank you & happy New Year to all of y’all!

I hope you all are having an incredible day & a happy holiday!

xoxo

  1. My favorite parts of 2015 were all the memories I got with my friends and family (I know so cheesy) and I’m totally looking forward for many more memories to come in 2016 (especially graduating high school!!)

  2. Hey Mackenzie!
I don’t really have a specific ‘favorite’ part of 2015, but rather, I enjoyed the whole year! 2015 was a really big year for me. I really settled into my life in a new city, got promoted at my job, got ANOTHER job, and created so many lasting memories. I think the best part about my year was creating a life that is consistently full of favorite moments. When I’m sad, it may seem like those feelings are forever, but for the first year in what feels like a very long time, I’ve had many more good times than bad.
Looking back on this year, it went by so quickly and was a complete whirlwind, but my favorite thing about it has been the countless favorite moments that I will always remember and look back on fondly.
I hope 2016 is just as great for me, and for you too!

    Happy New Year!

  3. 2015 was absolutely amazing. I graduated high school, completed a semester of classes at the University of Georgia, and joined a sorority. Becoming Delta Gamma sister has been one of the most amazing parts of this year! These women inspire me daily, push me to be the best version of myself, and are always there to pick me up when I fall. I couldn’t imagine 2016 without them! LITB

  4. my favorite part of 2015 has been all the memories I have made this year! I’m a senior in highschool and it has been so much fun making memories and spending time with my friends and families my last year at home before college!

  5. My Dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (a type of blood cancer) at the start of the year and I think my favorite part of 2015 was when we were told that he is in remission!

  6. My favorite part of 2015 was definitely Christmas! It was the first time my entire family has been together in 3 years, and it was so special to all be together again.

  7. My favorite part of 2015 was probably my Spring Break trip – it was my first trip ever with friends and it was a bunch of fun! Also, I feel like I’ve really found myself this year and I feel like that made this such a great year! I’ve become an extrovert too so that’s making me much more social and fun!

  8. My favorite part of 2015 was spending my grandfather’s last week with him. My mom won $2,000 just 2 weeks prior so we could afford to see him over my spring break. That week truly taught me that everything happens for a reason. It was definitely a trio of a lifetime!

  9. My favorite thing of 2015 was finding out how much I loved Boston. I finally found a place where I believe will be home for me and I can’t wait to work towards that dream in 2016.

  10. My favorite part about 2015 has been transferring to a college that I never thought I would have gotten into and excelling in both academics and sports! I’ve pushed myself emotionally and physically more then I ever thought possible and am beyond proud of what I accomplished! Cannot wait to see what 2016 has in store for me. (:

  11. My favorite part of 2015 was finishing my first semester at the University of Arkansas and keeping a GPA that allows me to stay in the Honors College! Go Hogs 🙂

  12. My favorite part of 2015, as cliche as it may sound, was learning about love. I have learned this year that love is truly God’s greatest gift, whether it be love from a family member, a boyfriend, or a friend. True love is the most wonderful thing there is.

  13. My favorite part of 2015 was making it through the highs and the lows! I transferred to a school I absolutely love, had a wonderful rush experience, and was appointed Assistant Chair of Recommendations. I also met a kind, caring, and successful boyfriend! I hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

  14. The best part of 2015 was surviving this past semester. It was very tough, but I was able to realize that with the support of great family and friends along with some hard work, anything can be accomplished. Glad it’s over!

  15. My favorite part of 2015 would be a difficult one for me to choose!!! There have been so many special moments, but my favorite would have to be going to Rome, Italy with my family. It was interesting to see how different the culture was. Traveling was my favorite part of 2015💛

  16. My favorite part of 2015 was about a month or two after I left for college. I was so sad to leave my best friend who still is a senior in high school. But about a month or so later I visited home and while I was home her family invited me over for dinner. While at dinner I just felt so at ease and had such a good time with her and her family. It was in that moment that I realized that this friend of mine was literally my BFF and I was never going to lose her. She is like my sister and her family is like my extended family. I am so thankful to have her in my life and realizing this makes me so grateful.

  17. My favorite part of 2015 has been seeing all of my hard work pay off in school, while also finding the time to maintain the relationships that matter most to me!

  18. 2015 overall has been a blessed year for me, yet my favourite part was my dad’s 50th birthday party.

My dad is probably like yours Mackenzie in how he is selfless and often won’t make a big deal about himself yet always will, for my brother and I. It was great being able to see him through other people’s eyes that evening, as they told me their adventures spent with my dad over the years they’ve known him. I think it was also really special for him, as I don’t think he realised how many people appreciate his company.

While I’m here and a new year draws near may we all make more memories, enjoy great conversation, be open to new experiences and be blessed in 2016!

  19. My favorite part has been, although this may sound strange, overcoming everything I have been through this past year. I beat depression, anxiety, and anorexia. Your positivity and encouragement to everybody is very admirable, and I definitely looked forward to reading all of your posts on all social media while I was in treatment- and even though I finished I am still excited to read them! 😉 Thanks for all you Mackenzie- your work does not go unappreciated or unnoticed!! At some points I did not think I would make it to this day, but I am so much stronger and am so thankful to enjoy the time I spend with family and friends!!!

  20. I got engaged in January! My fiancé is from Lima, Peru, and I went to visit him for a month and a half over the summer. Not only did our relationship flourish, but we did some cool things like visit the National Museum and take surfing lessons. My stomach finally adjusted to Peruvian food (which is some of the best in the world), and I can truly say that I have a second home there. I am excited for 2016, as I will be studying abroad in Lima and getting married!

  21. My favorite part of 2015 has been finding out how to truly love other people as well as myself in the process! 2015 had its rough patches for me, but I learned how to be happy despite the struggles I faced.

    Happy holidays, Mackenzie!

This past year I was just able to realize how many great people I have in my life and feel genuinely happy about seeing good things happen to them as well.

  33. Hey Mackenzie!! My favorite part of 2015 was my journey of body positivity and self esteem. It was a process that was not only physical, but also involved letting go of people in my life who tried to change me into their own version of what they wanted me to be. 2014 me needed a major reality check, and I’m happy to say that now, at the end of 2015, I’m way more in touch with who I am and who I want to be! Seeing strong, successful, and driven women like you take life by the horns has been a huge motivator and a great compass for my own life.

    Merry Christmas!

    Merry Christmas Mackenzie!!

  37. My favorite part of 2015 has been any length of time that I have gotten to spend with my extended family. It’s always special because they don’t live close to us and we don’t get to see them often.

  38. My favorite part of this year was getting accepted to my dream school, starting college, joining a sorority and making good grades my first semester! Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year. ♥️

  39. Merry Christmas Mackenzie! By far, the best part of 2015 was really finding my niche and family within my university. I used to feel so sad and lonely hearing about your stories and others’ experiences, but now I have it!
