Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas for 2017

THANKSGIVING IS ALMOST HERE. Well, 18 days to be exact. Not that I have a countdown or anything.

I absolutely love Thanksgiving. Partly because of the food, but mostly because of the good company. I’m so excited to see my entire family this month- especially my sister and my grandma! This time of year, I always get emails & Tumblr questions about what to wear for the occasion. My sis texted me this week about Thanksgiving outfits because we love coordinating for the holidays (we went all out this year for Easter. Check the post here!). Though I tend to be more of an ‘occasion shopper’ (i.e. buying new pieces for special occasions and events), I decided to pick out a Thanksgiving dress that I already have in my collection. I wore this printed midi dress in my Taj Mahal post back in December. It’s definitely one of my favorites that I own, and the colors just scream fall to me. When I think of a fall color palette, warm browns, burnt orange, bronze, gold, and plum are a few hues that come to mind. To dress things down a bit and add a touch of southwest flare for our Texas Thanksgiving, I am planning on wearing my favorite brown booties and suede fringe jacket. Both are great little touches that add a cool spin on any outfit.
