Hello friends & happy Friday! Boy, am I thankful for Fridays. Did anybody else’s week go by crazy fast? Mine sure did. Today I wanted to share one of my favorite new finds- this gorgeous & girly pink maxi skirt. I have been a little bit obsessed with midi/maxi skirts this past year and have become something of a collector of anything and everything long and flowy.

When I spotted this little gem on Nordstrom for under $50, I knew it would get lots of love in my wardrobe. I absolutely love how feminine and flouncy it is with the wrap fit and tie waist detail. I also think this skirt is incredibly flattering as well. As for sizing, I definitely think it does run true to size. I feel like I am constantly having to get pieces altered (because I am 5’1), so it’s always refreshing to find something that is the perfect length for me. If you are a tall gal, I think this skirt would also look beautiful as a midi skirt paired with neutral sandals or chic wedges! I paired it with my go-to layered, white crop top and my favorite nude heels. This look would be perfect for any spring occasion like a wedding or even Easter! Speaking of Easter, I can’t wait to be back in Texas next Friday. I’ve definitely been having tex-mex withdrawals lately.

Cheers to the weekend!

Mackenzie

Printed Romper

ROMPER printed romper (c/o of June & Beyond Boutique) | CARDIGAN Show Me Your Mumu cardigan (unavailable- linked Mumu’s newest cardigan that I just ordered) | PURSE five zip crossbody | SANDALS lace up sandals (linked other options below) | NECKLACE conch shell necklace (linked dupe)

The end of spring break marks the official beginning of spring in my book. I am beyond thankful that the weather is starting to finally warm up because I have been dying to break out this adorable, little romper from June & Beyond Boutique. When I first saw this romper online, I thought it was navy and white. To my surprise, it’s actually black and white- which I LOVE (emphasis on LOVE). I am always down for a fun, neutral piece, especially one with a killer print. Even though I spent spring break in Texas, a girl can still pretend to be on vacation/somewhere tropical, right? To give this romper some beach vibes, I paired it with my favorite lightweight cardigan, a crossbody purse, lace up sandals, and a conch shell choker (trying to start a trend here, ya feel).

As embarrassing as this is to admit, I think I’ve tried almost every single style of Show Me Your Mumu rompers. My usual go-to romper styles? The Riri, Rocky, and the Rascal. However, I can definitely say it’s safe to say the ‘Rorey’ is now one of my new faves! The ‘Rorey’ style is breezy and lightweight, making it perfect for the beach, brunch, or anything in between. I love the adjustable cami straps and the cinched waist. Additionally, I love how comfortable it is. Throw on a chunky cardigan + neutral sandals, and you’re ready to go!

*P.S. On a totally random side note, I have been obsessed with my new highlighting palette from Anastasia Beverley Hills. I mentioned it on my wishlist post, and I decided to cave in with my Christmas $. It’s stunning, and if you are on the fence about it, I can 100% say that it is SO worth the money (especially if you want to blind everyone with your highlight). Okay, end random side note.

Agra Fort

On Alexandra: white midi dress (on sale!) | brown sandals (linked similar)

Happy Monday! I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. It’s been so nice to be home with my family (and to have some warm weather here in Texas).

After three nights in Delhi, we headed to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. Though the Taj Mahal is definitely the most noted destination in Agra, the Agra Fort is definitely something not to be missed! We enjoyed walking around the grounds of the gorgeous fort. I was really glad that we had a guide for this little day trip as there were a ton of things to learn about the Agra Fort (also known as the Agra Red Fort). If you are in Agra and want to visit something cool along with the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort is a must-see.
