Hello friends & happy Saturday! It’s that time of year – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! If you are a Nordstrom Card Holder, definitely start shopping now before it opens up to the public (things tend to go out of stock!). Over the years, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has always been an early back-to-school shopping outing for my family. It’s such a great time to stock up on pieces for the upcoming season- at an awesome price! Even though I am not going back to school this fall (which is the strangest thing to say out loud), I am especially excited about the sale this year. San Francisco is pretty chilly, and our summer feels like fall most of the time. Most sales tend to be end-of-season, but it’s nice that Nordstrom does their big one right before the season starts. The selection this year is stellar, and I have already ordered a few of the pieces from the sale!
Without further ado, here are a few of my favorite picks from this year’s sale:
one. satin ruffle hem romper / two. embroidered crossbody bag / three. suede mules / four. high neck midi dress / five. spot strappy jumpsuitsuit / six. military jacket / seven. ruffle bell sleeve blouse (ordered this in the black and the blue) / eight. ripped denim jacket / nine. tie front blouse / ten. embroidered chambray shirt / eleven. bell sleeve blouse / twelve. stripe bell sleeve top / thirteen. over the knee boots (just ordered this exact pair!)
The big trends this year definitely seem to be bell sleeves/ruffle sleeves, anything and everything light pink, and booties. I ordered this long sleeve blouse in two colors (which will be perfect for work!) and these amazing, suede over the knee boots. I am so incredibly excited to get them in the mail very soon, and I know will get tons of use out of them all year! Tomorrow I am heading to the Nordstrom store in Palo Alto when my mom gets in town, and I can’t wait to browse the selection in person. This is definitely the time to stock up on basic essentials that you will wear and love all fall!
