Hello friends & happy Saturday! It’s that time of year – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! If you are a Nordstrom Card Holder, definitely start shopping now before it opens up to the public (things tend to go out of stock!). Over the years, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has always been an early back-to-school shopping outing for my family. It’s such a great time to stock up on pieces for the upcoming season- at an awesome price! Even though I am not going back to school this fall (which is the strangest thing to say out loud), I am especially excited about the sale this year. San Francisco is pretty chilly, and our summer feels like fall most of the time. Most sales tend to be end-of-season, but it’s nice that Nordstrom does their big one right before the season starts. The selection this year is stellar, and I have already ordered a few of the pieces from the sale!
Without further ado, here are a few of my favorite picks from this year’s sale:one. satin ruffle hem romper / two. embroidered crossbody bag / three. suede mules / four. high neck midi dress / five. spot strappy jumpsuitsuit / six. military jacket / seven. ruffle bell sleeve blouse (ordered this in the black and the blue) / eight. ripped denim jacket / nine. tie front blouse / ten. embroidered chambray shirt / eleven. bell sleeve blouse / twelve. stripe bell sleeve top / thirteen. over the knee boots (just ordered this exact pair!)
The big trends this year definitely seem to be bell sleeves/ruffle sleeves, anything and everything light pink, and booties. I ordered this long sleeve blouse in two colors (which will be perfect for work!) and these amazing, suede over the knee boots. I am so incredibly excited to get them in the mail very soon, and I know will get tons of use out of them all year! Tomorrow I am heading to the Nordstrom store in Palo Alto when my mom gets in town, and I can’t wait to browse the selection in person. This is definitely the time to stock up on basic essentials that you will wear and love all fall!
Let me know what you’ve been eyeing from this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

Hello & happy JUNE! May was honestly such a crazy month for me. From graduating college, to accepting a job offer, to making the big move- it has definitely been an exciting past few weeks. I have been looking forward to June for quite some time, so I am stoked that it is finally here! I feel like the days have just been flying by lately, and I am so excited to see what this month has in store.
Today I wanted to share a few things I discovered and loved in May. Let me know below which products/finds you loved this past month!
GLOWY MOISTURIZER pixi glowtion day dew
I honestly can not tell you the last time that I have purchased a full size moisturizer. I constantly bounce from Sephora samples, always hesitant on spending $50+ on a full size, high end moisturizer. When I was in Target about three weeks ago, I decided to pick up this wallet-friendly moisturizer to give it a try. I really, really love it. I am pretty picky about skincare, and I always look up ingredients. I did some research on the brand, Pixi, and decided I would give it a try. I really like this moisturizer for everyday use (not night). It looks beautiful under makeup and really gives your makeup a dewy finish. I also have very sensitive, acne-prone skin and it does not break me out! This product is also super lightweight, which is something I look for in an AM product. I would definitely repurchase this product in the future!
Hello friends & happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! This past Saturday, I graduated college from the University of Mississippi. College flew by crazy, crazy fast, and I can not believe I am officially an alumni! It still blows my mind.
I am so grateful for all of the people in my life that encouraged me and supported me over the past four years. I couldn’t have made it to the finish line without their tenacious and steadfast love. I am also grateful that I had the opportunity to go to college, and it is not something that I take for granted. Though it is never easy closing a chapter of a book, I could not be more excited for the adventures ahead. I will be starting my journey to California next week, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come!
Hello & happy Sunday! Mother’s Day is next Sunday!! Can you believe it’s already just around the corner? I am so incredibly thankful for my mom and everything that she does for me. I have absolutely no idea what I would do without her and her constant encouragement, energy, support, and selflessness. I love that there’s a day to celebrate our lovely moms & show them how much we appreciate them! Whether you are enjoying the day with brunch or just spending quality time together, Mother’s Day is all about her. Today I wanted to share a few Mother’s Day gift ideas with you! It’s that time of year. With graduation just around the corner, we are experiencing a variety of different emotions and feelings. Though graduation is incredibly exciting, the big day itself can be looming and a little bit overwhelming. Finding the perfect dress can really take off a lot of the stress and help build up the anticipation for the day that really marks a new chapter of our lives.
I initially thought finding a graduation dress would be a piece of cake. However, after searching through what felt like a thousand dresses, I had narrowed it down. I know how tough it can be to find the perfect graduation dress. I’ve complied a list of tips and dress suggestions below!
I hope that you can find my tips & picks helpful during your search for the perfect dress:
one | two | three (my mom and I both own this dress- comes in 10+ colors) | four (one of my most worn dresses) | five | six (under $100) | seven | eight | nine (under $100) | ten | eleven (under $100) | twelve (I got these last month and love them!) | thirteen (under $50) | fourteen | fifteen | sixteen (under $100 + also come in black) | seventeen (under $100) | eighteen | nineteen | twenty (under $50) | twenty-one | twenty-two | twenty-three | twenty-four (I own these & love them!)
Hello & happy Tuesday. I don’t usually blog on Tuesdays, but today is an exciting day because Shopbop is having a HUGE sale right now, which will be open to the general public tomorrow (cue fireworks/confetti/balloons/etc.). Though it’s opening to everyone tomorrow, you can already start shopping the sale today! With the code “EVENT17“, you can get 20% off all orders under $500 or 25% off orders over $500 (both full price and sale pieces!) until Friday. This sale is definitely a great time to stock up on the spring/summer staples you have been eyeing (especially things like neutral sandals, denim shorts/jeans, accessories, and graduation dresses.).
I love Shopbop because they have such a great variety of pieces from a ton of my very favorite brands like Free People and Sam Edelman. I wanted to share a few of my favorite Shopbop pieces that are both in my wardrobe and on my wish-list. I decided to include my favorites- all under $200. If I had to pick just one single piece from Shopbop, it would definitely be this embroidered Free People dress. I own it in blue, and I plan on asking for a second one this April for my bday (torn between the black and the cream). It is available in four gorgeous colors and is so versatile. I wore mine 10+ times this summer, and it is definitely my favorite/most-loved dress in my closet!
Let me know what you have been eyeing from Shopbop lately/what your faves are!

Everybody has their own guilty pleasure. For me personally, it’s shoes. I can admit that I have something of a shoe addiction and that I own more shoes than any human being probably should. They say the first step is admitting you have an addiction, and friends, I definitely have a weakness for shoes. Whether it be strappy sandals, sky-high patforms, or anything in between, I want them all.
I can hardly contain how excited I am for all of the spring trends this season- shoe trends included, of course. I wanted to share three of my favorite shoe trends for this upcoming season that I have been noticing (and loving) lately!
