On Alexandra: oversized vneck tee | black ripped jeans | cactus espadrilles (on sale!) • On me: swing cami (sold out- linked similar) | white culotte pants (on sale!) | miller sandals | rainbow earrings

Do you ever have those days where you have absolutely no idea what to wear? I definitely do- sometimes more often than not. For me, when I am really torn on what to wear, I often opt for a monochromatic ensemble. Not only is it easy to just throw on head-to-toe the same color, but it’s also very flattering and lengthening. During my last trip with my sister, we ended up matching in monochromatic looks- on total accident. Even though it is past Labor Day, I will be rocking white throughout the entire year. It’s one of my very favorite colors to wear, and I don’t see a problem with brining it into fall and winter. My sister, on the other hand, loves blacks and gray. Nonetheless, it’s always nice finding solid, neutral pieces that you love and can get a lot of use out of!

For a comfy travel outfit, I paired a Topshop cami with my favorite stretchy, white culottes. To make the look a little more colorful, I added the coolest rainbow, tassel earrings (that are constantly going in and out of stock). Alexandra paired her favorite ripped skinny jeans with an oversized vneck tee and cactus espadrilles.

In addition to our solid, travel basics, I have linked a few more white and black pieces below so you can mix & match your own monochromatic masterpiece! Next time you are a little stuck on what to wear, try a monochromatic look. Pair a sleek, black bodysuit with a black denim skirt and suede booties for fall or opt for a white bell-sleeved blouse + white ripped jeans for a rebellious, post-Labor Day outfit. Monochromatic looks also give you some leeway to throw on your most coveted (but sometimes hardest to match) statement pieces and accessories!

  1. Mackenzie this is so cute!! The contrast of the bright earrings is so great with the all-white. You are so stylish; every outfit of yours I’m just like; “she did it again!” haha!
    Have a wonderful day!
