Hello friends & happy Monday. This past weekend, we had an amazing salsa festival in Redwood City (where I live!). I can’t turn down any outing that involves some salsa. For the occasion, I wore my favorite, blue swing dress, brown booties, and large gold hoops. I wore this floral frock in this blog post a few weeks ago during my trip to Maui. Though it’s gorgeous in the summertime, I am excited to wear it all fall. I totally picture it with a suede jacket and tall, over-the-knee boots. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

P.S. Apologies that this is kind of a short post. I debated about even posting today because I am having a pretty bad case of the Monday blues. The Las Vegas shooting has left me completely horrified, upset, and shell-shocked. I can’t even put into words how heartbroken I feel. My heart and prayers go out to all the victims and families during this time. I typically don’t like to bring up topics like these on my social media, but I just can’t shake this heartbroken feeling towards the events that have been having lately.

The Vegas shooting has left me in a sad state of mind, too. It’s such a strange world we live in right now, but I’m glad there are people like you who acknowledge their feelings and continue to smile even through the tough times.
