Hello & happy Monday! I have had the busiest/craziest/best 48 hours of my life, and I am still trying to catch my breath. One of my very best friends (since age 10!), Taylor, booked a last minute flight to SF this weekend to come stay with me! I am not a spontaneous person, but I am so thankful that she surprised me! We had a blast, and I can’t wait to share some of our photos from the weekend with y’all.

Taylor loves photography too, so it’s so fun having a friend to shoot with (you can check out her insta here). After breakfast in Palo Alto, we decided to snap some pics on the Stanford campus before heading to the Stanford Shopping Center! I get asked ALL the time about how to find locations to shoot blog pics. I have recommended this site before, but I LOVE Atlas Obscura. I found this hidden gem spot on the site, and it made for the perfect #ootd backdrop!

It has been super warm in the Bay Area recently, and I am not complaining. I love any and every excuse to break out little swing shorts. To make things a little more ‘fall’ ready, I threw on my new favorite booties. I purchased the same pair in black last summer. I remember thinking through that decision for months before making the splurge. In the past year, I have worn them more than probably any other shoe that I own, and I wear them year round. When FP put up this new, warm toned brown pair, I fell in love and decided to pick up another pair. I really, really love this beautiful color- especially as a fall transition piece. I know that these new babies will be getting just as much love as my black pair!

I hope you guys enjoyed this quick little post! S/O to my bestie for taking these amazing pics 🙂

xoxo,

Mackenzie
