Hello & welcome to my little corner of the internet! I am so happy that you are here. My name is Mackenzie, and I am a twenty-one year old travel/shopping/photography/cactus addict from Westlake, Texas. I grew up in Palo Alto, California and somehow ended up spending my college years in the tiny college town of Oxford, Mississippi. I am currently a senior at the University of Missisippi, where I am studying Art and Business Marketing.
I first started blogging as I entered my freshman year of college. It all started with a Tumblr blog called “pinkandgreenlivingthedream“, and after my sophomore year, I decided to create this little corner of the internet. Blogging has been such an amazing, creative outlet for me, and it’s been the most incredible learning experience. I love having a place that I can share my adventures and, of course, my OOTD’s.

Travel is such a huge part of my life; it’s my passion and my escape. There is no greater gift in the world than the gift of travel- experiencing new places, meeting new people, and embracing cultural differences has changed me forever. I’ve been to over 30 countries, and I hope I am not done yet! Traveling has made me realize how blessed we are as Americans to live in such a great country. Seeing and meeting people all over the world has enlightened me and made me want to make a difference in the world.
Right before I left Texas for my freshman year of college, I went on my first backpacking trip with my dad. We trekked over 100 miles across Northern Spain on the El Camino de Santiago. It was such an incredible, spiritual journey and learning experience. After my sophomore year, I traveled around Africa on a safari and studied abroad at the London School of Economics. Life is such an exciting adventure & I am loving every second of it!
